Sinopsis
This monograph examines the work of the illustrator, Arthur Rackham, and traces his achievements. Rackham's illustrations for such works as "Rip Van Winkle", "Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens", "Alice in Wonderland" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" have attained the classic status of the writings themselves - indeed, in some cases - they have become synonymous with them. Rackham himself, however, has previously remained a shadowy figure.

Acerca del autor
James Hamilton is an art historian, biographer, and museum curator. He is the author of a number of art and historical biographies, including Faraday: The Life, The Sculpture of Austin Wright, Turner and Italy, and Turner: A Life, which was short-listed for the James Tait Black Memorial Award.
