Reseña del editor

The book that tells you how to prepare yourself fully for the most important part of the job application process: the face-to-face interview.

With many more graduates than even five years ago the competition for jobs is fierce and academic qualifications alone are increasingly seen as an insufficient guide to the ablilty of candidates. The interview is of prime importance. It’s the moment when you must impress personality, fluencey, interest and some guile if necessary. Interviewers may be canny and try to lay a few traps, or clumsy and not know how to give you the best opportunity to express yourself. This book tells you how to prepare for every eventuality. It breaks down the kind of questions you are likely to meet and gives examples of the most typical. It disusses the different strategies you might adopt when faced with a panel of interviewers rather than a single one. Also, crucially it explains how you should use the interview for you own ends, how to take control of the direction it is following, how to put the interviewer on the spot with questions about the company.
