Sinopsis

There has been a substantial growth in degree courses in nursing and the health care professions. Intrinsic to these courses, is the study of research methods. Not only do health care workers need to comprehend research reports and the implications of such work but, increasingly they are asked to conduct research, both as students and as practitioners. Added to this, the introduction of the purchaser/provider relationship in the NHS has placed an increased emphasis upon the evaluation of policy and practice. Health workers will be actively involved in many such reviews.
