Sinopsis
Architecture is able to create a force within the environment which can provide an image for, and of, a society. This profile explores the idea of the built form as an expressive and emotive power and discusses how particular governments and institutions often use a style of architecture to express the power and control they have, and how the demonstration of wealth through architecture can also signify power. A great deal can be said about a government or similar organization by the architecture it chooses to be seen in.
