A collection of the author's writings, this book aims to challenge the traditional product-orientation of design with a process-oriented approach. It is concerened with the design of the design process itself, rather than with the production of objects. The author attempts to offer an insight into the nature of the design process. This text is writen for industrial designers and architects and is relevant to those in the emerging process-oriented fields, such as software engineering, to which traditional product-oriented design methods are inapplicable.
