The author takes various quick animals (Californian sea lion, kiwis, frogs and cheetahs) and compares them to slower animals (sloths, slow loris, giant tortoises, garden snails and manatees). There are full colour illustrations throughout the book and a little information about each animal. The book includes a glossary, further reading list and index. This is a series in which simple comparisons of two ideas are used to capture the personality of different animals.
