Report of the excavations from 1966-1990 on the site of the baths basilica at Viroconium Cornoviorum built around AD 150. Evidence is presented in some detail with lots of illustrations, including a large number of conjectural reconstructions of buildings and site panoramas and a set of 177 A3 loose-leaf plans which can be assembled to provide mosaics of the evidence and site interpretation at each successive phase.

Biografía del autor
Phil Barker has considerable experience in both software engineering and in finance and investment having taught courses at the National Alvey HCI centre, a government funded organisation transferring university based research into commercial applications. Prior to this he lectured at Heriot-Watt University where he taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in computer science and accountancy. His research focused on neural networks and cognitive modelling involving the use of software simulations. He is currently an independent consultant to the financial and investment sector.
Prior to a twenty-five-year career in federal government communications and media relations, Roger White was a reporter/editor with weekly and daily Ontario newspapers. He is married and lives in Ottawa, where he is hard at work on the next book in his Capital Crime series.
