Sinopsis

He was about to give up on his quest for the kind of happiness he thought love offered him. Once bitten, twice shy, he simply didn't believe in it anymore, not for a long time if truth be known. Olivia, he had come to realize was actually all about herself and not truly interested in him. It was going to be another painful transition and another long time alone healing. He was not so sure he really wanted or needed to try again. James' day was going from bad to worse. The train had been late on arrival, the storm clouds had gathered overhead and now the rain was literally running down his legs into his boots. So when the car sped past him, soaking him from head to foot, in fairness it couldn't have made him that much wetter. Which was little comfort on that dark, cold, wet October night.
