In 2003, Charles Ingram won notoriety after being found guilty of having conspired to win the popular TV quiz show "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" by deception. Now however in his first novel, Ingram proves himself an adept and intelligent thriller writer. By drawing on both careful research and his professional experience as a Major in the British Army, he has constructed a gripping, terrifying tale of a terrorist plot to detonate a nuclear bomb in London on the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. However, thanks to the good offices of a pious curator at Kabul Museum in Afghanistan, the British Government learns of the conspiracy and launches Operation Enduring Freedom in an attempt to thwart the terrorists. At its spearhead is former MI6 field operative Harry Winchester who, with US agent Tess Fulton, tracks the plotters from Afghanistan to Argentina and then finally on to London. As 'Zulu Day' draws closer, it seems ever less likely that Winchester will be able to find either the terrorist cell or the bombs in time. Is everyone's worst nightmare about to happen? Since his appearance on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire", Ingram has gained massive media coverage and has appeared on many television shows including "Hells Kitchen", "The Games" and "Richard and Judy".
