Biografía del autor
Ponciano Almeida's Capoeira name is Mestre Poncianinho ('Little Ponciano', as his father, also a mestre of Capoeira, has the same name). He was raised in a small town in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil. He started Capoeira at the age of four, and was taught by his father and uncle, both mestres of Capoeira. Since the age of 15, Ponciano has been teaching full time in Brazil and throughout Europe. He has been based in London since 2000, and became a master of Capoeira in 2004. He has appeared in music videos, magazines, newspapers, commercials and a recent trailer for BBC One. He also appeared in the film Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire.
