Marielle Renssen has successfully run two marathons and countless half marathon and 30km (18 miles) races, and has completed the tough The Foot of Africa marathon. Marielle co-wrote Marathon Runner's Handbook (New Holland) with Bruce Fordyce. She lives in South Africa.
