The final section has six real homes that show how these ideas have been brought to life, and how specific issues such as poor natural light or limited space have been addressed and resolved. The book is thoroughly practical throughout, with specific, easy-to-achieve ways to maximize space and light in the home.
Biografía del autor
Katherine Sorrell is a former Associate Editor (features) of Homes & Gardens magazine, and now writes books as well as magazine and newspaper features on interiors, design, style, and crafts. Based in Penzance, Cornwall, her most recent books are Home Design Planner and City Living (both Ryland, Peters & Small) and The Art of Display (Mitchell Beazley).
