Sinopsis

The long-awaited autobiography of the greatest rugby player of our time: Brian O'Driscoll.

Since 1999, when he made his international debut, there has been no greater player in world rugby than Brian O'Driscoll. In 2010 Rugby World magazine named him its world player of the decade - and since then the legend has only grown.

Honest, gritty and thoughtful, Brian O'Driscoll's Autobiography is not just an essential sports book. It is an essential book about family, friends, hard work, courage and imagination.

De la solapa interior

Between 1999, when he made his international debut, and his retirement earlier this year, there was no greater player in world rugby than Brian O'Driscoll. In 2010 Rugby World magazine named him its world player of the decade - and since then the legend has only grown.

Along the way, he has been tested - by personal loss, off-the-field pressures, career-threatening injuries. The Test is a book about how he took on those challenges - how a world-class talent developed a world-class work ethic and temperament - and, in the latter stages of his career, turned himself into a very different sort of player. It is packed with vivid insights into his own game, and into his coaches and teammates with Ireland, Leinster and the Lions. At the same time, it is the story of a complicated human being forging his own identity in the public eye.

Honest, gritty and thoughtful, The Test is not just an essential sports book. It is an essential book about family, friends, hard work, courage and imagination.
