Sinopsis

Including wild animals in our hugely successful Ready to Paint series is a natural development since the successful launch of Cats and Kittens and Dogs and Puppies. Animals are an attractive prospect for many artists, but some are put off owing to the perceived difficulty of drawing them. The Ready to Paint series solves this neatly by providing pull-out tracings from which to work. There are five beautiful projects, each accompanied by a full-size tracing of the initial drawing. 200 step-by-step photographs accompany the easy-to-follow instructions, and a dedicated section on the materials used is also included. This is a great way to learn how to paint these inspiring animals in acrylics and there is plenty to appeal to more experienced painters too. As well as the five projects, there are four further finished paintings to inspire the reader, one of which also has a full-sized tracing, making six tracings altogether.
