It follows the part that American, British and Australian airpower played in each theatre of the campaign. It includes the many different missions that aircraft were tasked with, precision bombing, support of ground forces, clandestine air drops. Covering the initial build-up to the rapid and record-breaking advance on the capital it uses dramatic action photographs and first-hand accounts to portray the events as they unfolded.

Biografía del autor
Tim Ripley is a correspondent for Jane's Defence Weekly and has covered widely during the recent Middle East wars. He is the author of more than 20 books, including Air War Iraq, Middle East Air Forces and 16 Air Assault Brigade published by Pen & Sword.
