Biografía del autor
D. Geraint Lewis was brought up in a south Wales mining village. His grandfather's mother-tongue was Welsh and both his parents were able to speak Welsh, but he had to learn it. D Geraint Lewis feels that many adults of his generation would identify with his language challenges - and he felt a strong sense of identity through names inherited through the family. D Geraint Lewis sets out to explain names in this book and makes clear the legends they come from, and where they are drawn from Welsh history, or from poems, and literature.
