Young One - Tapa dura

David Young, captain of Wales and a triple-British Lion, holds a unique place in modern day rugby. Capped by his country in the first World Cup and a British Lions Test two years later, he then went north to establish a formiable reputation in league rugby. In The Young One, Young reveals how promises made by two famous clubs never materialized, forcing him to turn his back on his homeland and rugby union for six years; why the game and culture of rugby league can teach the rival code so much; and how the importance of security in his future life has influenced every step he has taken in sport.
