Sara Maitland is a British novelist and short-story writer. Her debut novel Daughters of Jerusalem won the Somerset Maugham Award and her subsequent publications were met with similar critical acclaim. She currently works as a lecturer for Lancaster University's Creative Writing MA and is a Fellow of St Chad's College, Durham University.
