Sinopsis

Civitas Vera is a group of mental health professionals who have worked in human services for many years. Our aim, through this book, is to help us all re-think how we work with and help people with challenging behaviours. We take a more holistic approach so that individuals are helped to be the citizen they want to be. We encourage the true and actual involvement of the person themselves, their formal and informal supporters at all stages. The stages: working out if the person needs help, finding out as much about the person as needed, creating plans for the person including for when there is a crisis.
