Unlike his sprawling space opera The Overlords of Mars trilogy, which has some very intricate plot lines andtechnology, this one is pure entertainment.Scary, hilarious, and above all a really fun read.I hope they make it into a film, it would be awesome.\*\*\*I've never laughed so much and simultaneoulsy been soterrified of ever being outside my home at night again.\*\*\*So good! I can't believe I'm going to say this, but this mightbe the best thing you've ever written!\*\*\*Addictive. The characters and plot are both entertaining yet believable. There is very interesting mixture of gritty realism, humor, and stark horror here. I have never before encountered such a perfectly tuned blend of these elements.\*\*\*Some of the dialogue and situations presented are laugh out loud funny, and others scenes would make this an instant classic as a film due to the humanity of the characters in it. Any GenXer who used pen and paper RPGs, will also find some delightful and cleverly used references. I suspect Mr. Filotto had a lot of fun writing this. I can't wait for the sequels.
