Dr Nuno Arroteia holds a PhD in Management. He has extensive industry experience in managerial roles at multinational companies such as Arthur Andersen, Deloitte, UEFA, and Carglass. He is a serial Angel investor with a portfolio across a diverse range of sectors (ICT, creative industries, life sciences, industrial production). He has held teaching positions in the areas of management accounting and international business for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. His primary research interests are in international business, international entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial finance. Dr Safaa Sindi is an Assistant Professor in Operations and Supply Chain Management at Coventry University, in the Faculty of Business and Law. She holds a PhD focused on the development of a multidimensional matrix for supply chain management which was tested with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). Safaa has experience working with corporate clients on consultancy projects and professional development. She is well published in the field of supply chain management and use of innovative methods in teaching and learning in higher education. Dr Sindi is the Director of the Coventry University Business School Simulation Suit, where she has contributed to the design and development of the suite. Her role involves leading projects on gamification, developing simulation activities for teaching and learning, researching the impact of incorporating the use of simulation in higher education as well as on the professional development of corporate clients.
