Sinopsis

Liverpool of the early 1980’s is suffering a managed decline. Brenda Shields is desperate to escape it and the high-rise tenements whose shadow she has never left.
Yo-yo might have the means to help his sister realise her ambitions in the form of a drug sniffing chocolate-brown-spaniel, stolen from the prison he has just been released from. He plans to use Seamróg and her innate ability to discover drugs to help his girlfriend kick her habit but will soon find out that Seamróg is going to put him on a course of collision with not only the prison governor but also the drug-dealers fuelling a citywide heroin epidemic.
