Brian Azzarello is a celebrated comic book writer known for his gritty, noir-influenced storytelling. He gained widespread acclaim for 100 Bullets, a long-running Vertigo series created with artist Eduardo Risso, which won both Harvey and Eisner Awards. Azzarello has also written for major titles such as Batman: Broken City, Joker, and Wonder Woman, bringing a darker, more psychological edge to iconic characters. 

Greg Rucka is a novelist and comic book writer renowned for his work in both crime fiction and superhero genres. He has written extensively for DC Comics, including acclaimed runs on Detective Comics, Wonder Woman, and Gotham Central.
