Clinical Applications and Medical Practice: A Guide to Successful Application to Dental and Medical School well prepares upper-level undergraduate students who aspire to pursue further education in dental or medical healthcare professional schools. It provides students with a roadmap offering guidelines and information on the crucial steps necessary for admission to graduate school and other advanced programs.
The book provides details on various educational and professional pathways, including the differences between allopathic and osteopathic medicine, the intricacies of application processes for both fields, the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), interviews, clinical shadowing, and the importance of hands-on clinical experience. Additionally, it touches on the current healthcare landscape in the United States, offering prospective students a grounded understanding of the environment they aim to enter.
Providing readers with practice advice and foundational knowledge to help them navigate the application process successfully, Clinical Applications and Medical Practice is ideal for students in health-related pre-professional programs or those preparing for admissions to medical or dental schools.
