Delphine Perret is a graduate of L'Ecole des arts decoratifs in Strasbourg. An author and illustrator, Delphine has already published a dozen children's books of her own, as well as illustrating many others. Her style is simple but brilliantly effective: she can bring a whole world to life with a single line. Playing on words, sounds, senses and the unsaid, she teases the imagination of the reader with her pencil strokes, and draws them happily into a strange and very funny universe all of her own.
