Sinopsis

Evie has a secret, a life-changing secret and she's not ready to tell anyone about it. Not Rick, not her parents, not even her best friend, Mel. She needs to figure out how she feels about it first.

What she needs is a quiet place to go and think. And the best place she can think of to do that is Lillyford: a small town, a quiet place, with nothing going on.

But when she gets to Lillyford, Evie finds that hers is not the only secret, not by a long shot. Why is the old man, a man she has never met, so angry with her? What's going on with Max and Amy? Can she bring an estranged family back together? And can she sort it all out before Mel's wedding?

Acerca del autor

RJ (Ruth) Amos worked as a lecturer in chemistry for ten years before deciding that she'd much prefer to write for a living. She started her writing with some cosy mysteries, bringing in the drama of the academic world, and has moved on to experiment with romance and science fiction. She has also written two self-help books: My Year of Saying NO and Boots That Fit, that share the lessons she learned as she simplified her life. She hopes that others will also experience the joy of a life that fits them perfectly.Ruth is married to Moz, and they have two grown-up children, two children-in-law and three delightful grandchildren. She loves reading, is a relatively unskilled knitter, and enjoys walking along the beach (pretty much any beach will do).
