Sinopsis

Are you a nervous person, easily spooked? Then please don't open this book. It contains Splookies, nasty critters!

Written in the Irish language by Irish poet Gabriel Rosenstock, and with colorful artwork provided by Rucha Dhayarkar, The Splookies is a dreadful book written for any young readers interested in dreadful monsters, repulsive creatures, and whatever else might be lurking out there in the dark... the Splookies come from Co. Mayo, in the West of Ireland. Unpleasant critters. The only good thing you can say about Splookies is that they know they are disgusting.
