Dr. Sarah Michaud PsyD is a clinical psychologist with a private practice in Central Massachusetts. For over thirty years her main field of practice has been helping families and individuals recover from drug and alcohol addiction as well as from the many unhealthy co-dependencies that occur. She completed her doctorate program at the California School of Professional Psychology (San Diego), then moved back to Boston to work at a well-known psychiatric hospital, where she helped to open a residential program for dually diagnosed clients. Sarah's unique position as an authority in the field is also due to growing up in an alcoholic household, becoming addicted to alcohol and cocaine, and marrying two addicts in recovery. Her own struggle into recovery from addiction and relationship insanity is an inspirationfor all readers. As Michaud says, "I lost myself and found myself many times-hopefully to be solid enough now to not get lost again or at least find my way back more quickly." Co-Crazy provides clear, attainable, no-nonsense advice for millions of families who have suffered the human cost of addiction and codependency. The author lives outside of Boston.
