Whispers from Kith and Kin: 1 (Whispers from Kith and Kin: Gettysburg Series) - Tapa blanda

Sinopsis

It is similar to novels such as Downton Abbey, Gone with the Wind and Anne of Green Gables. Part 1 of this series spans multiple generations of heartwarming characters—kith and kin. Clara and Phillip’s starry night big dipper love pact will bond them forever. Whispers and a mysterious cavalry tunic button are hints from a bygone era, and a tale of twin brothers ensues, one of which suddenly vanishes. All of these events lead up to a tearful, chaotic struggle for control of a burgeoning nation. The emotional historical fiction was sparked by the author’s familial ties to Corporal Phillip Hill, an individual who became influential in the efforts of aforementioned cavalry. Phillip’s gallant lineage can be traced back to Lostwithiel, U.K. and Bowmanville, Canada. This latter novel was authored by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Our talented granddaughter, Chelsey, with her familial ties to, Lucy, provided valuable assistance to our emotional historical fiction novel. Recent evidence has brought to light the significance of the previously unacknowledged Wolverine 5th Cavalry. These Civil War volunteers out of Burke’s Corners, Michigan, under the command of General George Armstrong Custer, had a great impact on the legendary Battle of Gettysburg.
