Hardcover. Condición: New. No Jacket. Jeffrey A. Scovil Ilustrador. 1st Edition. A lifetime of travel and collaboration has blessed renowned mathematician Steve Smale with access to great minerals often just as the parts of the globe he happened to find himself on were at their peaks, specimen-wise. A follow up to his first book, The Smale Collection II reflects the professor's lifetime of travels and the cultivation of his refined aesthetic. The book showcases selections from his collection many of which were featured in his perennial page in The Mineralogical Record as well as pieces from his Chinese Virtual Museum and a few dozen favorites. Coupling state-of-the art print technology and Scovil photos, this book serves up eye candy so vivid you can taste it. Nº de ref. del artículo: ABE-1781990831157
