Second Home: Large Print Edition: 3 (Chinkapin Series Large Print Edition) - Tapa blanda

Sinopsis

It’s beginning to look like Christmas in Chinkapin, but Laurie has her sights set on an early spring wedding -
If only she and Chase can set a date, find rings, and agree on the reception!

After blowing her budget on a Christmas present for Chase, Laurie can’t afford a wedding dress. Was her idea for the perfect gift a mistake? Normally friend Mary is full of advice, but this time she’s letting Laurie sink or swim on her own.

At least Laurie and Chase are both excited about the old house they’re buying near the Coffee Pot Café. It gets more exciting when Laurie finds a mysterious box in one of the closets. All she needs is the key, and keys are turning up everywhere.

Laurie's still hard at work on feature articles for the Journal. But tragedy turns her latest feature into headline news. Will it spell the end of a beloved Chinkapin institution?

And why is Evelyn still so darned annoying? She bosses the volunteers at the Treasure Chest around like she owns the place, and not just at the thrift shop, but at St. Mark’s as well. Maybe Evelyn has deeper connections to the church than Laurie realized.

The whole town proves full of surprises in this third book in the Chinkapin series. Enjoy it in large print!

Get acquainted with Chinkapin

Hidden Treasure (Chinkapin series book 1) When Laurie moves to Chinkapin from “up north” to get away from her ex, and her memories, she finds plenty to distract her in Chinkapin: a new job, two cute guys, and a home away from home at St. Mark’s and the Treasure Chest Thrift Shop. Things get interesting when a real treasure is donated to the shop. But what do Chase and Jeff know that they aren’t telling? And which one is the creep?

Finders Keepers (Chinkapin series book 2) Laurie is sure of her heart now, and she knows what she wants. So why all the suspicion when a couple of unfamiliar faces are seen around town? Another potential treasure shows up at the thrift shop, but is it the genuine article, or a fake? Laurie chases clues, and her desire for a new home, across three counties, but it takes a new friend and an old one to help her see the truth.
