This ancient book offers wisdom for today as we too seek to live godly lives of prayer, purity, and care for one another in a world that seeks to pull us away from God.

Ruth Anne Reese holds the Beeson Chair of Biblical Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky, where she has taught since 2000. She is the author of 1 Peter (2022) and 2 Peter and Jude (2007).
