Sinopsis

First graders at High Tech Elementary North County (HTeNC), studied bio-mimicry and focused on the relationship between nature and its influence on human design and innovation. Specifically, they investigated how nature (flight of birds) inspired humans to create (aircrafts). Students studied the physical characteristics of birds and explored the similarities found in aircraft design. Each first grader illustrated and wrote about a specific bird that inspired a specific aircraft. They wanted to share our learning with others through these coloring pages.
