Sinopsis

He was alone for the most part. He was blamed for something he suffered the most from. So he accepted the solitude but not the guilt. He wanted to clear the misunderstandings. He wanted to believe that when he was alone at nights, he wasn't really alone, those touches and breaths didn't make him feel so. He was so close to giving up on himself, but then.... he met someone and realized finally what a two- edged sword love is. He thought he had finally gotten rid of them after having met his love, whom he thought was the one he was looking for, but turned out to be just another pawn to hurt himself, confuse himself and hate himself more for hurting someone he had begun to treasure more than himself. And then, as if once was not enough. They, were brought into his life and he in theirs. He knew them. He was positive that he had seen them, met them, and knew about them much more than he realized, but what he couldn't understand was, why he felt so familiar when it was his first time meeting them, him and her, Ranjeet and Maya. So he avoided them as much as he could, as he was scared for reasons he himself couldn't decipher, but destiny had plans to make the three collide, him, Ranjeet and Maya, and collide they did. Like puppets they were played, brought closer, and then thrown into such disarray that those strings that made them dance, now tightened around their throats, like noose, with every breath. Now that they were together, the untied noose was being tightened. They didn't ask why because they knew they had sinned... they knew, but neither had the courage to confess. And so, the punishment that they wished to escape from, followed them through lives, through deaths, and finally caught up to them. Together they suffer alone....He couldn't tell anyone what was eating him up in the inside, but like a drop of water on his parched throat, he could hope again, because of a friend he could trust, Tanushree. She did nothing and everything at the same time to change his life for good. Now he wants to tell everyone, those who never tried to understand him, rather judged him, who he is. Most of all he wants Ranjeet to understand him, that he cared for him and wants him back in his life. Yes, they can never escape this destiny they are tied together in, but if they have each other, at least they can face it and be solace to each other. This is the first book in the series where the three of them wound up in the same noose. A narrative of love, friendship, bullying, social stigma attached to the third gender, and something that everyone believes subconsciously but deny vehemently.... curses.
