That is the theme of every poem or novel he’s written. “I’m given to believe life is a prayer and Poetry a medium. For me to believe otherwise to forfeit life’s sacredness. Poetry affirms life regardless of subject matter.” Jerry James Rempp believes himself to be part mystic and part existentialist. His verses range from philosophical to the lyrical reflecting dreams of childhood. He compares himself similar to the universalism of Walt Whitman.
