Sinopsis
Menchi is a colourful puppy who likes to play all day. Although she was once a homeless dog, now she has a caring family. She loves adventure, travel and her people, and she enjoys learning new things. There are so many colours in Menchi's life! She has a pink collar and a red tongue. When she goes outside, she gets yellow on her nose from smelling flowers and green grass on her back from rolling in the yard. With grey paws, a black nose and brown eyes, Menchi runs to see the world around her. She wears an orange tag, and she has a purple coat for when there are storms. Menchi loves all the colours of the rainbow! This children's story introduces an adventurous dog named Menchi and shares all the colours of her life with young readers. A portion of the profits from this book goes toward supporting local animal shelters.

D. J. Hughes has been a restaurant owner since 1991 and serves as a counsellor for the homeless. A mother of four, she lives with her husband in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada.
