From obscurity to significance by God's grace. He reflects on his early childhood, a period of turmoil and the father's fracture syndrome. His dad died when he was 18 months and his younger brother 4 months. Their mother was an orphan, and because he was the eldest child, his blind paternal grandmother accepted him. He was pampered and showered with unconditional love by grandma Everything was great until her death. Alone, 11 years old; it was a difficult time for him, but he was forever thankful to his Creator, Grandma, Aunt, and the village mothers and fathers. He grew up on the Welfare system (Dole) which terminated when grandma died. He was 16 and troubled when a very reputable woman rescued him. She was the principal of a Business School. It was an angelic encounter. He experienced God's favor. Mrs. Philips mentored him, and he became her Bookkeeping instructor. He later obtained employment with a Canadian Firm in the mining district. His quest for being a man of God and a gentleman of substance, is still work-in-process and he continually acknowledges that God is responsible for the good things that are happening in his life. He migrated to the United states to pursue higher education. His struggles in Guyana and Corporate America, was an uphill battle, but through it all, he was victorious. In retrospect his life is an illustration of Divine providence. Dr. Samuel G. Waldron, MBA, A.I.C.B, DBA, Ph.D. is a Christian, retired Asst. VP, . Guy Carpenter Inc., a subsidiary of Marsh and Mc McLennan. He is currently an educator at International University of Leadership; a Tax Consultant, and Co. Chair of the International Ministry of FBCC. He is a frequent lecturer at IUL and Chairman of its Leading Board. He enjoys working in Academia and mentoring Doctorial Students. He is a father of 5. grandfather of 13, and great grandfather of 1, . He loves meditation and fellowship with believers in Christ and visiting different countries.
