Some people have beautiful, fulfilling relationships with other people and do not realize they can have a beautiful, fulfilling relationship with God, too. That was me. This book explores "Who is God" and "What is my relationship with Him?"I remember attending church with my grandparents at age three. I accepted Jesus as my Savior at age eight but it was many years before I knew I could have a beautiful connection with God. After finding a church with a teaching Pastor and learning more, I decided I wanted to have a better relationship with God. Why? Because something was missing in my life. I learned a basic knowledge of God and Jesus but I didn't know about connecting to God's Heart. I hope you will see the difference.I have made several discoveries in the past seven years. I discovered that there is a difference between just knowing God and connecting and having a real relationship with Him that gives my life meaning. I have discovered that there are many others like me. That is why I wrote this book. While I was acquainted with Jesus and knew He died for everyone, I did not know I could have a personal relationship with God. Somehow I missed the message that God is Three In One: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. By accident I found a place for God and me to meet, my morning walk on Bridle Path Drive, which is near my home. I have discovered that there is much JOY every morning when I thank God for everything and pray for people. I know that I need to do God's will. I discovered that I love to write. By writing this book, I can share my experiences with people I do not know and can share my journey. The title of this book tells what I discovered. Hopefully, Finding My Way ... To God's Heart will touch someone.
