This is a work of fiction. A novel based on a foundation of certain firm probabilities.
The reader never knows if he has reached the end. He is unwilling to leave the Kingdom; he is unwilling to forget Princess Rajeswary; he does not want to leave the company of the ascetic Vishnushatry; he is willing to remain spellbound by the lectures of Professor Arjun and Catherine; he wants to visit the North Woods to have a glimpse of the majestic Promi Sierra; he wants to see how Suryawarma’s sword blazes. He wants to return again and again to the chapters that are so adorable and so realistic. He is caged within the pages…
No, this is not a novel. It is a visit to an extraordinarily enchanting place. The stories are intertwined cohesively to present the story of a small civilization, and there is a shade of mystery!
The kingdom of Promipur is a wealthy and advanced kingdom—advanced in terms of human progression in the absolute sense. At the conclusion, the reader is unwilling to keep the book down, wishing only that what happens at the end ought not to have happened.

Suresh Shetty holds a BA (Hons.) in literature from the University of Pune and a degree in law, LLB, from the University of Bombay. He is an intelligent and gentle person. He is sensitive and can be easily hurt, but that will never go beyond the moment. He always seeks harmonious environs and feels disappointed with adversities. He holds very deep respect for scientists and saints and believes they are the hope of human society. Without them, he thinks we will be leading the life of beasts.
He has admirable flair for the expansion of an idea. And he has a very efficient way of putting them into words. He is careful when constructing sentences and chooses the simplest word available in the context. He does not stray around with figurative language. For him, the expressed ideas must enable the reader’s mind to think to his depth.
He believes earnestly that adhyatma is pure science. People of religion with no insight of adhyatma have been misleading society all along. He believes a scientific approach to life and adhyatmic tenderness to human problems will reduce human suffering.
