Sinopsis

Big fantasy. Small package. Your favourite axe-wielding anti-hero is now available in a portable compact edition in Barbaric, (Compact Edition) Book 1. Perfect for your back-pocket when you head out on a side quest. Owen the barbarian has an axe. And he's gonna do good with it if he has to kill someone. Owen the Barbarian has been cursed to do good with what remains of his life. His bloodthirsty weapon, Axe, has become his moral compass with a drinking problem. Together they wander the realm, foredoomed to help any who seek assistance. But there is one thing Owen hates more than a life with rules: Witches. Welcome to the skull-cracking, blood-splattering, mayhem-loving comic brave enough to ask: How can a man sworn to do good do so much violence? Hah! F***ing with you! There's no mystery. It's just... Barbaric.

Acclaimed artist Nathan Gooden is known for co-creating the bestselling comic, Barbaric, as well as his work on Post Malone's Big Rig,  Brandon Sanderson’s Dark One, and Dark Knights of Steel. He lives in Baltimore, Maryland and plays a lot of basketball.

Artist / writer Richard Pace has applied his talents to numerous industries including games and television, but comics remains his greatest love. Jim Campbell is a twice-Eisner-nominated comic-book letterer, one-time writer (perhaps again in the future!) and occasional artist (although his enthusiasm rather outstrips his actual ability). He knows more about print production than mortal man was meant to know and has also scanned more images than you've had hot dinners. Unless you're ninety years old.
