To win today's markets you need to be more than innovative: you must be transformative.
How do companies achieve breakout success? And how can leaders best guide their organizations to achieve it? In Transformative, venture capital investor and innovation strategist William Kilmer explains how challengers become market leaders by shifting, building, and growing markets they can win. Going further, he outlines how leaders in any industry can create these options.
The most successful companies build massive opportunities for themselves by creating new playing fields from existing and emerging markets. They do it by innovating customer outcomes--not products--and delivering category-creating solutions that transform and grow markets. Then, they employ an innovation-growth strategy to attract new customers, alter industry dynamics, and build unique company advantages.
Leveraging years of research into the world's most transformative companies and his own experience investing in and building startups, Kilmer delivers a comprehensive leadership framework that will help you achieve breakout success by:
- Building a game-changing innovation strategy to focus your team on creating new customer outcomes that redefine customer priorities, sidestep barriers to entry, and produce capability-based advantages for your organization.Transformative is a hands-on guide that will change how you think about innovation and markets, and most importantly, show you how to build an organization that consistently produces game-changing results.
