Sinopsis

A lot of us write poems during our transition from late teens into our early twenties. This time in a person's life is usually peppered with multiple episodes of heightened emotions due to our changing biology and young adult experiences – so we write. Are they good poems? Bad? Most of us throw them away. L. De Voss did not. Maybe you'll see some of your past feelings in these poems: anger, confusion, self-pity, self-drama, youthful observation, a desire to make sense of what's happening without admitting to being flummoxed by the behavior of others, and so on. Maybe you didn't throw your poems away. If not, this collection of poems will inspire you to find them and give your own past thoughts another read. If you are presently living this age-specific transition, read these poems. They might help.
