Acerca del autor

Paolo Volpato has been working in telecommunications for more than twenty years. Currently he is Product Strategy Manager at Alcatel-Lucent. His function deals with the evolution strategy and positioning of the microwave product portfolio of Alcatel-Lucent. His interests include networking, mobile backhaul, SDN, energy efficiency. Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent, he worked for Wind, Infostrada and Italtel. Paolo has a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan, and owns a master in Marketing & Communication . He is involved in some industry and standardization bodies: NGMN (Next Generation Mobile Networks), where he (co)-edited a few technical papers, MEF (Metro Ethernet Forum), ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) and ONF (Open Networking Foundation). He also contributes to a few technical magazines on microwave subjects.
