After writing her masters dissertation on the gender gap in cycling, she was motivated to share her own story and those of other women cyclists in her zine Mind the Gender Cycling Gap (Microcosm, 2018). The second issue, Freedom to Ride is filled with women''s stories of bicycling and empowerment. The theme here is freedom liberation from the hassles of urban traffic and gender norms.
