That being said, we are not really academics...more practitioners, and we have written this book to be read by students who may not do much additional study in the field of Human Development than this work. Thus, though we believe it is scholarly, it is not written for the advanced scholar, but the average person who is also fascinated with God's special creation...mankind. "
