Jeffery Scott (1019) creates photographs that defy reality. After 20 years of painting and sculpting celebrity and super hero collectibles from popular comic books and movies, he transitioned to pursuing his own personal visions. In the early 21st century, he turned to manipulated photography to achieve expression without compromise. His images require 50 to 500 hours compositing separate elements into orchestrated masterworks. Whether viewed as a cohesive whole, or as layer upon layer of interlaced information, the art of 1019 communicates in-depth philosophies, concepts, and stories.
