Make fractions fun and interesting for students! This activity book is filled with interesting problems based on true facts about items students see everyday, such as how chocolate chip cookies were invented in 1947 by a woman who ran the Toll House Inn, or that the earliest written account of anyone flying a kite was in 200 BC in China. These facts get students excited about math, and each worksheet is based around such facts. "Camp Fraction" takes a unique approach to working with fractions. Set around a trip to summer camp, students work with fractions in a problem-solving format, while learning a little history, trivia, and fun facts about a number of different items such as crayons, paperclips, toothpaste, and pogo sticks.
