Proper training of the fundamentals is important in preparing young players for the game they wish to play. From the mid-field, forward, the team members need to adjust their positions and ball handling depending on how the attack is to proceed. This book will illustrate the proper methods of game set-up for both styles of attack and show those skills needed in order to properly attack.
Biografía del autor
Henk Mariman has been involved in amateur soccer for a number of years. He took a job as youth trainer at Belgian premier club Sporting Lokeren. Here he also handled the match analysis for the first team. Presently, he is head youth trainer for another Belgian premier League side, Germinal Beerschot, which has a close philosophical relationship with Ajax Amsterdam, sharing many of the legendary Dutch club's ideas on training youth players. He is a frequent contributor to the Dutch coaching magazine De VoetballTrainer and organizes coaching clinics throughout Holland and Belgium.
