He received his bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Arizona State University and his master of science degree in engineering management from Southern Methodist University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Texas and is the global energy manager for Texas Instruments, Inc. Mr. Hanson holds four patents in high purity water use and management and silicon powder reclamation.
