Amor Fati is a Latin phrase not coined by the ancient Romans, but by the German philosopher, writer, and poet, Friedrich Nietzsche. The concept of Amor Fati is a recommendation to embrace, lovingly, each remembered occurrence of one's earlier life - taking the glee out of the good things and the distress, anger or disappointment out of the bad.
